MENTORING

Students with disabilities, their parents, families and circle of support face complex issues when planning for the transition from school to adult life. Utilizing families who have already gone through the process as mentors allows for information and experience to be shared more readily. Business professionals and persons with disabilities who have found satisfying employment also serve as powerful mentors for students as they explore employment and independent living.
